Beth received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Foods from Virginia Tech. She had an internship at the University of Virginia Hospital and is a member of the American Dietetic Association, the American Association of Diabetes Educators, the Virginia Dietetic Association, the Southwest Virginia Dietetic Association and the Mountain Region of Diabetes Educators. Her past work experience includes working in Public Health Nutrition for the Roanoke County Health Dept. Carilion Community Hospital and as a nutrition resource in private practice. She has been working with Liberty Medical as a registered dietitian, certified diabetes educator and
insulin pump trainer since July of 2007. Beth is the mother of three sons, and enjoys playing the guitar, gardening, tennis, running, reading, offering answers to diabetes questions and helping people gain better control of their diabetes.
