Marta has a Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University. She is a board certified family nurse practitioner, a certified diabetes educator and certified insulin pump trainer. She has been a nurse for 15 years. She has worked for Liberty Medical for 9 years and is the Clinical Education Manager. Marta has been working with diabetic patients for the last 12 years and conducts education classes, support groups and insulin pump trainings. She teaches continuing education classes for healthcare professionals. Her job also includes researching, designing and implementing new programs for the company. She is a member of The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
